Computer Part Replacement - Video Card

First. Turn off your computer, and unplug the power chord from the back of the computer. Then, Remove the computer panel (There are many types of computer cases and many open different ways, so you have to play with it to figure it out.) Once you have the panel or cover off of your computer system then you will want to locate your video card. If your video card is a on board video card, you will need to add a new video card and will need to know what type of slots you have pci, agp, pci-e, etc. If you have a video card installed to a port then you will se a screw holding the video card in place. Take a screwdriver and remove the screw. Next, grab the card from the inside of the computer and pull straight out.

Now, that the video card has been removed you can take it to you local computer store, and the can match it with the same type of port, and you can decide what size video card you want to have in your computer system.

After, you have purchased your video card from your local computer store you can take the card and insert it into the slot you pulled the old card out of. Make sure that you push the video card all the way in and that it is sitting correctly like the card that you pulled out was.
Once in put the screw back in and the computer panel back on. Plug up the power to your computer system, and turn it on. Once you system is up install software that came with the video card.
